You could try slipstreaming in SP3 and newer drivers. It got me past when the installation hunged up at 34 minutes remaining where it was installing devices. But I decided to give it one more shot, this time unplugging all the other hard drives. this contact form I upgraded from my PowerPC specifically so I could run Parallels - so this is kind of frustrating...

If that is the Dell XP disc that came with the computer, and it already has SP2 on it, the hard drive may be failing.
