I'm writing this by logging into ultimate boot cd. That made windows boot normally instead of in safe mode and I was able to logon to windows. Yeah, hard disk is shown both ultimate boot cd and ubuntu live cd. I'm only part time and am here for just 13 hours a week.My next step is to take out a hard-drive and scan it as a secondary HDD in another computer
