I never quit apps either, so I just went to the task manager screen and patiently scrolled through all the loaded apps. I've been struggling to resolve this problem with my own web app (the site has no ads or third party scripts/content of any kind). Unfortunately I have no solutions so far, but I'm very concerned about upgrading iOS even further at this point. I've tried the Refresh button. It's ruining the ability to use the ipad anymore. Whatever be your reason, you can disable the auto refresh feature to get a stable web page.

This should stop many websites from refreshing automatically, when they are set to auto-refresh. The problem is inconsistent but seems to occur more frequently after extended use of the browser. All of the assets are loaded in the beginning and the homepage renders fine. That's what happens with Firefox, for example.
